Important Note About Your Purchase

Thank you for your purchase of our pastured chicken, which will be raised with the utmost care and attention.

To comply with USDA regulations on selling large quantities of processed chickens, we sell our chickens live. We will handle the slaughtering and processing at no additional charge. If you prefer to process the chicken yourself, you can pickup your chickens live from us as well.

Our chickens typically range from 4 to 7 pounds. Once processed, chickens will be randomly selected from the ice bath to ensure fairness in size distribution. On the slaughter date, come to our farm during the assigned four hour pickup window on Saturday to collect your chickens. Please make sure to bring a cooler with ice if you are not planning on bringing your chickens straight home.

If you encounter any issues on the pickup date, please give us a call. We may be able to accommodate your needs if we have freezer space available, however, generally you need to be on time. We respect your time, and it’s important you respect ours, regular issues arriving on time will result in cancellations of your orders.
